NOVEMBER 2014

BRIGHTER AND BRIGHTER 11/10/2014 "An entirely incredible event!" "It was an absolute thrill to listen to all that talent." "What a wonderful show." "So sorry to wait a whole year for the next show." "Amazing!" "This show gets better every year. See ya next year!!!!" "The Johnny Cash evening is my absolute favourite event in Northumberland County. " These are just a few of the many accolades that came our way, following our sold-out fundraising concert, 'Till Things Are Brighter: The Songs of Johnny Cash'. It was an evening filled with good music, good cheer and goodwill, that will be remembered by all involved. The Green Wood Community owes an enormous debt to the outstanding musicians who donated their time to support this cause and to align themselves with our story of hope.

Thanks to Deborah Hackett for this great collection of photos that capture the spirit of the night.

We appreciate the support of Cameco which, as our signature sponsor, allowed more than 80 individuals living on a low income to attend the concert.

Thanks, also, to the following businesses for their support in providing anything from accommodation to art work. We really do live in a community that cares.
